Baku White City project took part in the 4th Baku Marathon, initiated by Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the Department of Waterfront Boulevard and Baku Olympic Stadium on May 5, 2019.
Participants ran a distance of 21 km from the State Flag Square to the Baku Olympic Stadium. Among the 22,300 participants who joined the 2019 Baku Marathon, participant Ruslan Babirov ran a distance of 21 km in 1 hour 40 minutes and 12 seconds and took 5th place among corporate participants.
Supporting the development of sports and healthy lifestyle Baku White City project also participated in Baku Marathon in past years.
