Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction launched the international project "Winter School" for foreign students. Due to the pandemic, more than 100 foreign and local participants of the Winter School, which is being held on an online platform, will be working around the topic “Architecture and the city after the pandemic” this year.
As part of the Winter School master classes, participants made a virtual tour to Baku White City project. The students were informed that the area known as "Black City" for more than hundred years, contaminated with oil waste, has been completely refined and in accordance with the new development plan, a modern residential center is being created here.
The students got acquainted with the presentations reflecting the history, Master plan and photographs of White City project, then project specialists answered questions.
