The delegation headed by the General Director of Baku Transport Agency Vusal Kerimli visited the recently opened Green Hill quarter of Baku White City.

During the meeting the delegation got acquainted with the conditions created for various vehicles and safe movement of pedestrians. The guests were informed that 20 thousand square meters of sidewalk and pedestrian crossings were built within the quarter. For the organization of traffic on new streets, 200 traffic signs were installed. Barrier-free environment is installed on the roads for disabled people. Special parking spaces for cars, as well as stops for public transport provide pedestrians safe and free movement.

The BTA delegation also discussed a strategic plan for the development of the road and transport infrastructure of the territory between the Caspian Sea and Y. Safarov street, M.Hadi Ave., H.Aliyev Avenue, G.Garaev Avenue, Nobel Avenue within the framework of Baku White City project.
