In order to investigate the causes and elimination of consequences of the fire in the 16-storey residential building in Binagadi district of Baku on May 19, 2015 a State Commission was established by a decree of President Ilham Aliyev.
The first meeting of the Commission was held on May 20. During the meeting they discussed the elimination of the consequences of fire and safety in construction.
By order of the Head of State the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Executive Power of Baku city will conduct an examination of the buildings lined with similar materials. Upon detection of dangerous materials, finishing materials will be removed immediately.
