Inspectorate Alexey Gerashchenko arrived in the capital of Azerbaijan to exchange the experience in improving the urban environment. The delegation also included the representatives of the Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture, and the Committee for State Control of Historical and Architectural Monuments.
The members of the delegation from St. Petersburg also visited Baku White City project. The guests got acquainted with urban planning, architecture and infrastructure of the project, as well as on environmental cleanup. The formation of a comfortable urban environment and the development of green areas was discussed.
The guests were provided with information about the ongoing work. They informed that the area known as "Black City", polluted with oil waste for many years, was completely ecologically refined, and in accordance with the new development plan a modern residential community is being created here.
